Hi tOM,

multi-page forms with server-side logic controlling the outcomes of 
decision branching are sometimes referred to as wizards, after the 
embedded decision support systems of the same name. That is what I was 
trying to say, in my ranting way, below :)  It is a way of refreshing 
the part of the page that is relevant to the user (in this case, the 
whole of the popup).
