It is possible to attempt such a thing, yes, just not for the purposes
you seem to think.

Did you actually read any of the posts in those threads or did you see
the word theory or semiotics etc and feel such a feeling of smug
satisfaction that you started daydreaming like Homer Simpson about such
silly little people who would do such silly little things?

Giving you the benefit of the doubt: I challenge you to find an example
by any of the posters indicating even a passing interest in the
"essence" of IA, much less such an absurd goal as "perfect artifacts."

Of course, Pragmatism is a fine choice of theory, but it might have been
more helpful in this conversation to name it as such, unless perhaps you
were unaware that you were operating within a theoretical construct, eh?
