the underlying technology for blinkx comes from Autonomy Corp. who,
among other things, do the same thing as the blinkx product, but at
the enterprise level (so, not just automatically finding similar
content on your local machine but across your entire intranet,
extranet, or whatever you choose)

Google apparently and Microsoft definitely both have similar products
in the works
