[Sigia-l] Collaboration Software?

Hi -

I am currently researching collaboration software as part course work I 
am doing. Have you used software to help you work with other people? Do 
you know of research (or projects) that is not from the academic world, 
that you feel is compelling (eg IBM's Remail)?  I am interested in 
finding out about your experiences and the software you used.
