[Sigia-l] Remote testing

A few years ago there was a lot of talk of remote testing tools. The kind that installs a browser toolbar as the main interface for the users to use. There was a lot of talk about the effectiveness of these tools and such.

Has anybody used these, and have there been any recent innovations in this area?

An example of such tool is Vividence.
