I'm currently wrapping up a tool for intranet ontology extraction and
searching (open-source), and in this process I went looking for an
already defined intranet ontology, without much luck. Not sure why I
couldn't find it, because I'm pretty sure someone has made a few. I've
even had a stab at it myself in the past, and I've seen larger
ontologies carry bits and parts of one, but I've yet to see a straight
intranet one. Hopefully, someone else here might give us a pointer.

I ended up rolling my own, but my tool deals with faceted navigation
and not a straight taxonomy, so I'm not sure how useful it might be to
more "traditional" category navigation.

Anyways, a brief "I haven't seen any default ontology for this" mail.
