But correlation is not causality. The data has NOT shown that good
design "boosts" a firm's financial performance.


But it does point to something very powerful. Good design can be
achieved without sacrificing good design. More often than not the
argument is not whether good design is good for the business but rather
can we or can we not afford to do it. This study answers that question.
