CSE HTML validator PRO has a batch validation tool that does spell
checking and then gives you a report.
http://www.htmlvalidator.com

You basically start the batch tool change the options to only do spell
checking add the files and it will give you a report.

This may be too much money for what you need but I love this tool. It is
QA in a box. (No Offense to QA people)

Subject: [Sigia-l] Spell-checkers

Lots of effort on this list is geared toward the structure of
information and tools but let's talk about the content for a moment.
I'm working with a number of collections with information stored in
databases or individual XML files. A very big issue is the very high
occurrence of spelling errors in the title and description fields
(elements). Since the public sees this information, it has become
very important to clean up our content. (Grammar will be addressed
later.)

Does anyone use a spell checker that can run through a set of data
and provide a report? I know the checker won't be able to deal with
acronyms - although I could feed it a list of the acronyms (and with
them spelled out). One of my issues with tools like Word, BBEdit,
XMLSpy, etc. is that they stop at every error. I'd like to run the
check over a set of XML records, be able to specify the elements to
check, and hand the reports to the owners of the record(s).

Thank you for your help,
Shelley
