[Sigia-l] Visual Balance vs. Left Leaning Layouts

I am sorry, I usually keep my mouth quiet on most of the stuff that gets
bantered around this forum, but this is absolutely crap talk here. If it was
left up to you guys, the web would become nothing but a bunch of words in
boring 2 colum format, such as any jackie collins novel.
the problem i am seeing is that the non-artistic members here want to
separate the creative side of the web from itself, trying to create an
industry that the library science people think they can control. Well, to
open your eyes, maybe you should go to art school and get some education to
understand the web isn't just the words, it is design and development. they
all interact with each other and any good project will have all those
considerations, and if you think one exists without the other then you
really don't know what your talking about.
If you think that slamming design is giving you a feeling of superiorty then
you should think again, there is a great many people who have been in the
web business well before the onslaught of all the IA want-a-bees and they
know what doing good work is and find that all this toting by some of the
memebers of this group to be quite rediculous.
I do appologize to those I may offend, and this may not even make it to the
list, but enough is enough. I wonder if half of you ever really worked on a
good project, or a project at all? If you had, you would have a better sense
of what is involved in doing good work.
