[Sigia-l] locations of synonym terms in hierarchical taxonomies?

I can't really figure out how this relates to the original thread, but if 
you have the same acronym for two different terms, you might consider having 
two entries with qualifiers.

--| ATM (bank equipment)
--| ATM (relay standard)

Perhaps these are a little wordy, though.

Either way, the hard part would be choosing which to use as preferred -- the 
abbreviation or full form.
