The design issue here (from a craft perspective, not an aesthetic one) 
is that you want to have about 7 to 10 words per line of type for 
decent readability. Having 14 point type means your lines of type are 
longer, and pulling off a column layout with 14 point type is 
difficult.

I would just keep that in mind when working out wireframes.
