On the other hand, a degree in poetics apparently qualifies one to get up on a soapbox and say silly things in public.
Don't get me wrong, I think you make an interesting point! "In general" I hope businesses shy away from the "typical"
MBA the "typical" marketer, the "typical" administrative assistant and any other typical strawmen stereotypes.
As for anyone who is doing something in their professional life that their college education didn't prepare them for --
stop it right now!!
