There's an actual program in NYC in late trials. It allows people to be
(physically) tracked in real time via a small (GPS) bracelet and results
graphically displayed. One kind is permanent and the other you can take off.
They are still looking for volunteers for the permanent bracelet.

I've also written about packaged goods companies getting ready to place
billions of passive RFID tags on individual items for tracking. Now clothing
merchandisers want to get involved:
