Agreed. This is what I was reacting to.
This perception that the emergence of 'intelligence' happens
*auto-magically,* that one needs to just plug-n-play and off-you-go,
like categories, is the kind of bubble-producing band-wagoning which
clearly reveals where 'one's thinking is at.'
Marketing software to business as an *extremely easy for anyone
solution* like the Times article suggests, is to encourage
running-to-the-end-of-the-rainbow in search for that promised
pot-of-gold. This is irresponsible and misleading reporting. The reality
of wiki technology just isn't like this:

Indeed. Even a monkey can type. But all the typing-monkeys in the world
will not add any value to your business.
*Real participation* requires more skill than use of a keyboard or other
input device.
