I'd think a lot more of http://shirky.com/ if it used a relative
font-size as opposed to being *subversive* to the accomplishment of
obvious community goals and tasks (i.e. reading Web content).

To this end, http://shirky.com/ could make good by discovering
Ethnomethodology and learning to pay attention to and supporting *group
goals* (i.e. interaction), as opposed to personal goals which violate
metropolitan environments (i.e. aversion to IE browsers).   

Otherwise, this is the first attention I've given to http://shirky.com/
and am pleased someone has taken the initiative towards holistic
observation.
