The Information Architect leads a user-centered methodology that translates 
user behaviors into the structure elements of web-based tools and 
applications. This involves evaluating user scenarios and producing task 
definitions, information structures, page flow diagrams, wireframes, and 
working prototypes.
The Information Architect brings strong process and production management 
skills in managing their portion of a project and communicating with other 
team members. An understanding of interface design usability issues and 
Information Architecture (IA) will be required to provide leadership during 
project discovery, design and production phases.

In this role you will work across multiple departments as a significant 
contributor to major company initiatives. You must be self-motivated, 
organized, and have the desire to be a strong team player with an emphasis 
on meeting team goals. Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
are a must.

Responsibilities:


-Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team to deliver application and 
client solutions.
-Create product framework through content structures, site maps, and 
navigational models that are aligned with the defined user experience and 
business requirements.
-Draft wireframes that illustrate the initial flow, layout, navigation 
controls, and information relationships of the interactive design.
-Work closely with creative and development personnel to formulate the 
product concept, interface design, and content presentation.
-Write high-level creative and technical documents articulating how the 
proposed experience architecture solution addresses the strategic, 
business, user and functional requirements of the proposed solution.


REQUIREMENTS:
-Five (5) or more years of related internet/interactive information 
architecture work experience
-A degree in Information Science, Library Science, Human-Computer 
Interaction, or related degree a plus
-You must possess a strong understanding of standard concepts, practices, 
and procedures within the HCI / Human Factors field.
-An understanding of how market strategy and business operations affect the 
structure and design of the product solution.
-Experience with conducting requirements analysis and creating information 
structures in support of design concepts for consumer websites.
-Demonstrated experience translating complex concepts into interactive 
experiences through the design and/or implementation of website architectures.
-Ability to articulate user experience and design principles to team 
members and clients.
-Strong interpersonal, presentation, written communication, and 
facilitation skills.
-Familiarity with technology platforms, and collaborative and prototyping 
tools.
