>So has a 'usability engineer' ever been prosecuted in Canada?
Actually there is/was a very serious case between Memorial University of
Newfoundland and the Canadian Council of Professional Engineers (CCPE) and
the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland (APEGN) over
the title "software engineering". The CCPE/APEGN actually refused to accept
students graduating from the engineering program as engineers. MUN ended up
fighting it in court and won but they also had to trademark the term itself.
