Hi all,

NextLeft currently has contract Information Architect opportunities in

Responsibilities:

- Assist in the creation of documentation contributing to the overall
strategic direction and vision of a project 
- Define site functionality, navigation and interaction models 
- Lead content management and nomenclature development 
- Work to create Usability and Focus Group test plans, questionnaires and
recommendations documents 
- Create experience and user models, user tasks, profiles, usage scenarios. 
- Conduct heuristic evaluations of a site and evaluate strategically

Qualifications:

- At least 3-4 years experience in IA or related field 
- Experience in designing registrations, advanced search and browse systems
and e-commerce environments.  
- Experience with Content Management Systems (i.e. Vignette) 
- Experience in research techniques (i.e, usability testing, focus group) 
- BS/BA degree in related field or equivalent experience
- Excellent client-relations skills 
- Capacity for strategic, conceptual and associative thinking (ability to
create conceptual designs and strategic supporting documentation) 
- Superb organizational, logic and communication (oral and written) skills 
- Capability to travel and be effective in on-site situations.
- Knowledge of MS Word, MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Adobe
Illustrator, Macromedia Freehand, Visio, and Dreamweaver. 
- Strong understanding of Internet technologies (DBs, e-commerce,
client-server, and front-end technologies like HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS
and Active X)
