I did not say that it was an issue with the participants. In fact I
don't expect it being an issue. People are good at observing the order
among things.

However, observing the order among groups, regardless of how easy it
is, is still required for successful grouping.

I don't know what you are trying to say. Please elaborate.

What do you mean by "sequential order"?

What sequential order are you referring to?

I did not mention any first card, second card, or third card. However,
I did mention first, second, and third as a way to step through the
illustration.

sort". I assume it is a type of card sort. May be you can tell us how
you do "inventory card sort".
