.NET is a compelling technology from Microsoft with significant promise.
However, little has been published about its impact on the user
interface, from a designer's, developer's, or user's perspective. This
panel event will bring together speakers with experience in the medium
to present about the technology and take open questions from the
audience.
Bring your business cards! Infragistics has generously donated one
seat/subscription to NetAdvantage 2003 Volume 2 for a raffle.
NetAdvantage is an entire framework of presentation layer components for
COM, .NET & ASP.NET.

Delivering Rich-Client Features with Thin-Client Delivery: This
discussion focuses on meeting today's IT challenges, using thin client
or browser based delivery to maximize ROI while still delivering the
rich client features user expect and demand. The discussion will look at
the Infragistics Expense reference application as a real world example
of some of the power and advance feature that are possible with ASP.NET
and third party controls. We will discuss the challenges of delivering a
robust interface utilizing HTML and explore some working code to
evaluate solutions.
