I need a little help from someone out there around setting up and
displaying data as a large tree view.
A client that I am working for has 4 levels of result-set data that they
want to be show in one list in a tree view. Some of the issues we have
run in to are that we have to limit the amount of information that gets
returned, we have to allow possible paging at some of the children
levels, we would like to allow sorting on some of the columns of the
children levels and we would like to bring as much of the data to the
front end as possible up front.
We have already thought about ways to do the DHTML to show and hide the
layers, but the sorting and paging cause big development issues. Has
anyone out there done anything similar out there? What do you think
could be done to make the development of this easier?
Thanks,
Corey O'Brien
