INFORMATION ARCHITECT (full-time)

IT Web Solutions seeks an experienced Information Architect (front-end,
web-based) for a full-time position in their King of Prussia office. IT
Web Solutions provides customized solutions to clients servicing the
pharmaceutical, insurance and financial industries.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Work with team members to define the vision, strategy, content and
functionality for internal web-based applications, and customer-facing
websites
- Illustrate high-level site architectures, exploratory page schematics,
navigation schemes, and page-level interactions
- Define intuitive navigation schemes and labeling systems
- Provide usability guidelines to visual designers
- Conduct user research using cost-effective methods (interviews, paper
prototypes, etc.)
- Analyze and develop user tasks and usage scenarios
- Work with engineers to understand development issues
- Share knowledge/best practices with core UXD team in West Long Branch, NJ.


QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years combined experience in Information Architecture, Interaction
Design and Usability for web-based products and/or services
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, including
demonstrated success working with and presenting to clients
- High-quality documentation (heuristic evaluations, usability assessments,
functional specs., wire frames, interaction diagrams)
- Strong usability skills; administrating tests and analyzing data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Expertise with relevant design and prototyping software (Visio, Freehand,
Illustrator, Omni Graffle, Photoshop)
