| Findability is a concept that is relatively easy for our clients to
| understand. This is a light approach to help clients understand the
| need for better information architecture, whether that is a better
| taxonomy, thesaurus, metadata, search, augmented search, etc. There
| are many tools that we use to help provide the user access to
| information that they wish or need to find.

I think this is the key to the whole issue: the term "findability" has
been introduced because it gives us a useful "hook" to hang the whole
issue of organizing information on. Ontopia (not an IA company, really)
uses this term in precisely the same way and for precisely the same
reason. I think it's a useful term and intend to continue to use it.
