I also am a lurker, and have been for about a year. I was introduced
to the list by another lurker. This suggests to me that there are a
lot of us out there, and as Carol points out we may one day have
something to say. Even if we didn't, it surely furthers the goal of
the list to make the ideas discussed here available to a broad range
of people? It would be a shame to flush out all those (potential)
voices because one or two individuals cannot grasp the concept of
basic respect.
