I'm currently working with a client in Memphis, Tennessee who is
looking to 
fill a permanent Information Architect position. I know there have
been many 
cutbacks and layoffs over the past year. I'm hoping you might know of
someone who 
would be interested in this. Candidate must be U.S. Citizen or green
card holder. 

The Information Architect is responsible for establishing information

architecture strategy and content plans by creating information
structures through 
content hierarchies, site maps, and navigational models that are
aligned with the 
defined user experience and business requirements.  The purpose is to
create 
effective and intuitive user interfaces for the Brands web sites.
Candidate must 
have a BA/BS degree in a relevant field and a Master's degree is
preferred in 
Cognitive Psychology, Human-Computer Interaction or Human-Factors
Engineering.  
Must have at least 3 years in information architecture, interaction
design and 
usability in the development of large-scale web sites.
