The St. Louis Group for Information Architecture is pleased to announce:

THE IA OF AMAZON
Wednesday, February 26; 6pm
- St. Louis Bread Co. @ Brentwood Square, 1909 Brentwood Blvd, just south of
the intersection of 64/40 and I-170
-- we'll try to grab a big table by the fireplace
-- look for the table with a bunch of IA books

February's meeting will be a discussion of Amazon.com and all its wondrous
features that always seem to give people something to talk about, including
but not limited to:
- The Ubiquitous Tabs and site structure
- Recommendation systems
- On-site search
- eCommerce checkout interaction design
- Personalization and customization

What does Amazon do well? What does Amazon do poorly? Why is Amazon cited as
an example so often? What can you learn from Amazon to improve your site?
