[Sigia-l] How to make Dreamweaver more Visio like?

I've been reading previous posts on the pro's and con's of Dreamweaver and
Visio, and they were very helpful. However, I didn't see any solutions to the
following challenges, when making the transition from Viso to DW, as I am doing
right now:
1. How can I easily place and move screen elements (text, buttons, form
controls) without having to create a separate layer for each element (which
would make the screen pretty cluttered)? I've thought of creating an empty
table with many cells, so that I can move elements around, but this seems kind
of clunky. (ex. it seems that you need to merge cells to create indentations)
2. Can I have "stacked" templates? That is, a template which inherits from
another template?
3. Is there any easy way to create numbered pages (i.e. "1 of 25") when you
are printing out all the pages in a site?
Thanks very much for this assistance. Also, if anyone has questions regarding
Visio or ShapeSheets, etc. please let me know. I've been doing wireframes,
site maps, and workflows for several years with this package, and I'd be glad
to share some of what I know to folks who are starting out with this program.
