I noticed the hotel rates for the Hilton through Expedia (if booked with
your ticket) are actually slightly lower than the promotional rates if
you use the code for the conference. ($95 vs. $119) FYI, return tickets
for NYC - Portland go for about $320 if you are careful about what times
you fly (if you're not it's about $1400).
