I really suggest people take a look at Denim. It affords everything you
get from whiteboarding, and all you get from digital I/O as well.

While I see the benefits of whiteboarding, it is just such a constrained
medium to work in. The lack of fidelity is not enough to be useful in a
serious workflow for a complex applications where what I do is more than
just design, but also documentation and implementation support. Where
many of my team members are not part of the design proces at all b/c
there are just too many. So what benefit is gained by the whiteboard is
lost for most of the team members.
