Like sausage making, the less you expose the client to your internal
workflow the better it is. I often sketch stuff on a legal pad or a board as
I talk to *individual* members of the client's organization, but I wouldn't
dream of presenting stuff with butcher's paper, post-its, tape and chewing
gum to three or more people formally in a conference room. There are so many
ways to present digital stuff (notebook, large(r) monitor, projector,
tabloid print, plotter print, etc) that I can't believe the client should be
exposed to such medieval stuff. Frankly, that's as incongruous as asking
people, in the year of our Lord two thousand and three, to *fax* their
resumes for a computer related job. Heck, even Visio is better than that.
