I downloaded the demo yesterday and have started fooling around with it
a bit. 

It's awesome. I have decided to do my very next wireframe or
flowcharting deliverable using Freehand MX.

Admittedly I already have a lot of familiarity with the Flash interface,
which is quite similar in a lot of ways... but I can imagine that anyone
who has used Visio and is familiar with Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator,
or any other drawing app with a sane interface, will probably figure out
Freehand pretty quickly, too.
