My Visio complaints aren't about any lack in functionality, but in  
usability. Given the choice between Visio and HTML for creating  
wireframes I'd pick Visio without a second thought.

You can almost always make Visio do what you want, it's just *harder*  
than it should be (e.g. those "very well hidden" palettes Anne  
mentioned).

I find I'm much faster working in OmniGraffle than I am in Visio. Not  
because OmniGraffle does more, but because it makes it makes the tasks  
I need to do easier. Less time spent wandering around myriad palettes  
and menus. More time making stuff. As ever YMMV :-)
