John - I'm not saying Job Titles should define Roles. I'm saying that 
competencies and skillsets should define Roles and then we should name the 
Roles with Job Titles (labelling things ... isn't that part of our job?)

Ziya - your model of a small organization sounds wonderfully utopian, 
however, back in the Real World (TM) there is a need for large 
organizations and plenty of them around.
