Mitchell,

thanks for letting me further clarify on these points:

You can have voice quality communications with some of these tools with a
connection bandwidth of only 14.4 Kbps.
Additional bandwidth will be required to carry out other conferencing tasks.
Likely you can view a remote screen action live with less than 40 Kbps of
connection bandwidth, and even much less depending on the technology
approach utilized. From the above it is evident that you can have live
remote viewing of somebody else's screen and voice-grady quality within 56
Kbps.

Adding one video feed to this equation would require in the best of cases at
least a 64Kbps/ISDN line or better.

The cost that you refer is aboslutely correct. That is the top ceiling.

Each and very tool is affected by network firewalls. Depending on the tool
selected you can have more or less of an issue with firewalls. Most of these
tools that I have tested have not created firewall issues beyond the ones
that I get when using WebEx or Placeware. As I mentioned, complementary
solutions exist to also get around this problem.

Can be quickly accessed with one-click of your mouse. No evident
installation is required. In most cases a small download of a true
thin-clinet takes place in the background. In some cases, you may need to
Grant access to Java or ActiveX components the first time you access some of
these tools.

I would be happy to make myself available for a demo if ueful to anyone
here.

Cheers,

Robin Good
