[Sigia-l] Tone and Noise [was: Feedback]

I have to agree with this statement. There seems to be an excess of
noise and acerbic tone on this list - moreso than groups I'm in that
are more professional (e.g. commercial products, venues). IMO this list
would improve as a viable resource by cutting down on acerbic tones and
noise.
What would be more beneficial, and IMHO increase the value of this
list, would be for those of us who provide opinions and critics to
supply some suggested solutions as well. It's easy to complain about
something and create a bunch of noise. It's a true challenge, and sign
of genius to give an insightful critique with helpful suggestive
solutions and alternatives.
