Just more data points: Google calls them "KeyMatch" and Inktomi
Enterprise Search calls them "QuickLinks", AskJeeves has had them
forever.
I call them "manual recommendations" and I'm always looking for more
examples: <http://www.searchtools.com/analysis/recommendations.html>.
