Ummm, guess I should respond to this.
The short answer is that I don't know enough to give a coherent and
intelligent answer because:
- my knowledge of XFML is just slightly more than zip (but would
like to change that)
- I have given zero thought to the issues of a distributed
thesaurus (after a seven week holiday, four of those weeks
backpacking, I am still trying to get caught up with "life").
My gut reaction as a developer and IA is that it sounds pretty cool.
My gut reaction as someone who understands facets (more or less) is
that implementation will be difficult due to all the semantic
entanglements.
Still, in the fiften seconds I've devoted to mulling this over I am
intrigued.
