I'd be surprised if most companies are going to allow a "Home" link
placed next to or below their logo. That upper left corner is now
typically reserved for branding/corporate identity, and many companies
have specific guidelines as to how much "white space" must be around
their logo/wordmark. In my experience, this is typically 20-50 pixels.
Just something to keep in mind.
