Executive Producer:

We are looking for a full-time Executive Producer with the proven ability to guide and lead interdisciplinary project teams. You will be responsible for managing one of the standing interdisciplinary Plumb Design teams made of design, technology, and project management professionals. The team supports a number of projects in parallel, with a focus on serving clients with information-rich Web sites and information products such as electronic publishers or libraries. Given this focus, we seek candidates with an expert understanding of information science and information architecture.

The Executive Producer will work to ensure the profitability and sustainability of client relationships through the strategic development of new opportunities and the effective use of team resources. You will also have exposure to clients on various projects, and will be billable for at least 50% of your time.

Responsibilities
·	Act as primary client and vendor liaison on projects. Facilitate all client and project team meetings.
·	Collaborate with client and project team to establish each project's scope, business requirements, and measures of success.
·	Lead the development of information architecture and user experience design.
·	Work with design resources to develop visual solutions that reflect the client's brand and business objectives and provide smart, functional interfaces to comprehensive information. 
·	Work with your technology resources to develop technical specifications, construction schedules, and technical documentation for client.
·	Independently develop written project documentation including proposals, program statements, project plans, and functional specifications.  
·	Collaborate with Plumb Design Legal Group on the development and negotiation of work statement and contracts.
·	Spearhead internal initiatives including recruiting, coaching, and refining our services delivery methodology. Set deliverables and team goals, and keep projects on schedule and within budget.
·	Assist the Business Development team in creating and presenting pitches that will win Plumb Design business.
·	Identify opportunities for expanding existing client relationships. 


 
Criteria
·	5+ years' experience on client and project work in a professional services environment. 3+ years demonstrated client and project management experience in an Internet Services firm.
·	Excellent oral and written communication skills.
·	Proven success managing large-scale, multiple-vendor Web design and development projects.
·	Previous leadership experience and a proven ability to motivate and manage people.
·	Expert understanding of information architecture fundamentals. 
·	Expert understanding of Web technology solutions. 
·	Knowledge of information science (i.e. MLIS) a big plus.
·	Excellent multi-tasking, attention to detail, organization, decision-making, and self-administrative skills.
·	A passion for interactive media. Must be able to articulate an interest in the Internet, information architecture, usability, e-business strategy, information design, and technology.
·	Undergraduate degree (B.A.) or equivalent; or two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
