Design-Branding Fusion
Successful design grows out of the brand, not out of your head. Brand
strategy is not only a point of departure for the design phase, but an
integrated process. Three excellent speakers have been brought together
for the latest NYNMA Design SIG.
Speakers:
Stuart A. Cowan, The SAC Network: Managing Partner
John Paolini, Creative Director, SiegelGale, New York
David Weisman, Creative Consultant
Topics:
Weisman will present a conceptual framework for looking at what brands
are and branding's impact on achieving excellent and meaningful design.
Paolini's presentation will focus on mental maps, brands, and the
Internet: An increasing public appetite for more meaningful information
experiences has brought about an opportunity to redefine the function of
brand online.
Moderator:
Scott Weiss, Principal, Usable Products Company
