Paula,
Your comments below baffled me especially given the example you provide.
I should give some background. I worked for two years at Plumb Design as a
site developer and then a technical producer. My background is in
architecture, the capital A kind. I have a design and a technical
background, therefore I appreciate and place emphasis on the need for their
integration. I worked on the EMP project during its conceptual stages as
well as a number of other projects that had difficult data structures(eg. A
museum of the world's religions).
So I must ask you what is your criteria for a timeline to be worth the
investment? And I ask this because even though I didn't have to wait for
your example to load nor was it glitzy it didn't seem to do anything more
than provide a list with linked content that drove me away from the
timeline. How is this a good example??
