AIfIA has no intentions of being the Borg of IA. We are about
connecting things, not engulfing things.

AIfIA is about promoting and legitimizing IA as a profession. We
haven't decided all the activities this will entail, and while they
may overlap with existing activities there is no intention to
compete with them.

We want to create a richer IA culture, not an poorer IA monoculture.
