I'm not sure what target audience you're after, but it would be better if
you defined what 'faceted' and even 'metadata' mean, right up front. The
former has little currency beyond IA and the latter different meanings in
different contexts.

I'd also explain specifically why it might be better to use XFML when many
existing publishing/management software already have the capability to
extract data from a giving subsection of a webpage through RSS or regex and
manipulate the returning data.

Incidentally, one can argue that the answer to the following question you
pose may be 'Nothing.' given a suitable circumstance:
