[Sigia-l] statistics/articles

Forget about stats. What's important is if your client can use the product
they themselves are paying for. 9 times out of 10, you can save yourself a
lot of harship if you make it just work for your client provided that they
are below or a reasonable statistical standard.

I also think that 15" is not equal to 800x600. users of laptops w/ 14"
screens live at 1024x768 as their default. The stats below are helpful but
is still not completely useful as they are possibly too general across user
base, countries, industries, etc. You really need specific information about
the people who make up your profiles.

Does anyone have any stats/articles detailing the percentages of web users
that are on an 800x600 vs. 1024x768 and above? I have a client that runs
their business on 15" iMacs (yes, that's right). Is 800x600 still an
applicable standard?

Any thoughts here are appreciated.

Thanks,
Rick O.
