Can I put in a plea to avoid the confusion in the subject line of this 
thread: "International sites". To me, "international" means "relating to 
more than one nation, and especially to interactions between nations", 
whereas I often find it used to mean "relating to countries other than 
the United States of America" or "relating to languages other than US 
English" or "relating to languages other than any version of English".

When Microsoft offers me the choice of a "US version" of software or an 
"international version" I never know which to choose. :-(
