I was there. I definitely agree that IA skills are relevant to a lot of
different problem sets, but so is design, which a lot of your talk also
covered.

How has IA furthered the practice of design (or LIS, or information design
or its other predecessors) that makes it worthy of the title IA rather than
living comfortably in one of the old titles.

I continue to suspect it is connected to the unique medium of the internet.
