It's not in the Thesaurus of Information Science, so how could it *not* be
faddish? Hey, if it's not in the controlled vocabulary, then it is not
official ... ergo "faddish" ...
man, without such controls, what would this information world come to??

the real point was that relative to an established profession
(librarianship: 126 years as a profession -- several millennia in
prototype form -- and still going strong :), information architecture has
(at least) a little further to go before being societally acclaimed as
evidenced by its inclusion into a higher percentage of the University
catalogs of the world...
