I heard an even better one the other day. Someone was talking about the
orgiastic television coverage of militant events across the globe, and
referred to it as "militainment".

Go figure.

re: Christina's panties... :-)

Perhaps "Info-tainment" needs to be reviewed/banned?

This is a "made-up" word.

There are 2 identifiable words and therefore 2 identifiable concepts:
o Information
o Entertainment

It has long been acceptable in [eg] the USA to conjoin the two
..."learning whilst being entertained" - not so elsewhere... eg Europe...

Again *focus* comes into play.

Based on the current limitations globally for internet access we
need to focus "fun" sites on fun and "commercially viable" sites
on slightly more sensible approaches.

Sure, you can have fun when you achieve your goal quickly online
but the enjoyment comes from the *achieving of the goal* not from
*having fun*...it's subtle...but precision is key here lest we all
pump Splash pages and Disney characters onto our sites and the
millions of folks paying per minute for 14.4k dialup just drop out
of the equation.

thx.
