Subject: [Sigia-l] Studying UI design for many devices

My name is Jimmy Lin, and I'm a graduate student in human-computer
interaction at UC Berkeley. Currently, I'm investigating how designers and
information architects design and prototype user interfaces for applications
and services that run across different types of devices, for example, a news
service on the desktop vs. on a PDA or cell phone.

If you have worked on such projects and would be willing to talk about your
design practices, please e-mail me so that we can set up an interview. I'm
especially looking for people in the San Francisco Bay Area so we can do a
face-to-face interview, but if you prefer the phone or are from outside the
area, I still would be interested in talking with you.

Also, if you haven't worked on such projects but know someone who has,
please pass this message along to them.

Thanks for your consideration,
- Jimmy
