[Sigia-l] a word or two that means 'go to advanced search'

I like "search options", which seems to open up possibilities without
imposing the scary "advanced" word. Please note that even search
experts have learned to do short queries and rarely use advanced
search features (partly because they often don't work, how I wish
Google could get smarter about dates).
As you say, no one likes to keep clicking instead of seeing results,
so you don't want to put a filter in between them and the results
items. But Marti Hearst and other UI researchers report that showing
search results *and* filter options provides the best combination to
encourage people to use more features.
Hope that helps,
Avi
